Company "A", 4th Aviation Battalion

"Black Jack"

Company "A" got to Vietnam prior to the 4th Avn Bn.
It supported the 1st Cav Division from September 1965
until April 1966. At that point the 4th Avn Bn arrived in
Vietnam, and "A" Company went back under its control.
The unit supported the 4th Infantry Division until its
departure from Vietnam in December 1970. Location was
Camp Enari, Pleiku, then An Khe
