The 116th Aviation Company served in Vietnam from Oct 1965
until December 1971. It was located at Cu Chi for the most part. The company
callsign was" Hornets", the slick platoons were the "Wasps"
and" Yellow Jackets", and the Gun Platoon were "Stingers".
Maintenance callsign was "Bee Keeper.
