93rd Transportation Company

The 93rd Trans. Company was one of five H-21 units that were sent
to Vietnam. It was I believe, initially located at Da Nang. A decision
was made to have the 93rd and a Marine H-34 unit, swap locations,
and the 93rd moved to Soc Trang, in the Delta, in IV Corps. In February
1963, all five of the H-21 Trans companies were re-designated as Aviation
Companies. The 93rd became the 121st Aviation Company. Upon moving
to Soc Trang, the unit became known as the world famous "Soc Trang
Tigers". The photos on this page came from CWO Lee Hannah, now
deceased. Most of the photos I believe were taken in the Da Nang area.
