Weapons Platoon, "Sandpiper"

The 7th Squadron, 1st Cavalry was first attached to the 12th Aviation
Group at Di An, for the period February 1968 until June 1968. The
Squadron then went to Vinh Long and became part of the 164th Avn Group.
The unit departed Vietnam in April 1972.
